Hello, this is Schmo. I like most things. I’m currently 22 years old and Hobart, Tasmania has been my home for most of it. Humour and music are very important elements of my existence, I’m a very lucky boy to be exposed to so much of both.

Aleks Folvig

Guitar

I’m Aleks, I play guitar and while I don’t go for pina coladas, I don’t mind getting caught in the rain. I love making all kinds of music, and it’s great to be able to play with everyone that I get to!

Parmi or Parma? I reckon there is dispute over whether its parmi/parma because no one actually knows how to spell the full thing, but as long as it isn’t served with chips underneath it I don’t care what it’s called.

If you were only allowed to watch movies and TV shows that starred a particular actor/actress (of your choice) for the rest of your life who would you choose? I think if all I could watch were Bill Murray movies and Tv shows, I’d probably be alright.

If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why? I don’t mind long walks along the beach either, so I guess I’m a dog?

If your instrument could talk to you, what would it say? Do more practice.

What is your favourite TV Ad? The Toyota New Zealand bugger ad, or any vintage chickenfeed ad.

What’s your go to beverage at the pub? Whatever’s cheap, but I’m partial to a G&t now and then.

Sasha Gavlek

Double Bass

Hello! My name is Sasha, and I play the double bass (aka the big boy violin). I like to have bevvies with good friends, try art now and then, and play music. I love to play with as many different people as I can. There’s always something new to discover and learn; the possibilities are endless. I love jamming out new material with mates and performing to live audiences which is one of the most rewarding experiences I can think of.

Parmi or Parma? Parmi you lunatic

If you were only allowed to watch movies and TV shows that starred a particular actor/actress (of your choice) for the rest of your life who would you choose? Not sure so I’ll go with something I was watching recently and say David Tennant, he’s never disappointed

Lawrence Churches

Drums

Born in Hobart, Tas.  I have been playing drums since the age of 12 playing a variety of grunge, metal and rock styles. From there I was introduced to Jazz/Funk and from then on have been indulging myself further, having hits with some good people and making some good waves.

Parmi or Parma? PARMI. All Australian’s put ‘ie’ on the end of everything, it doesn’t have to make sense.

If you were only allowed to watch movies and TV shows that starred a particular actor/actress (of your choice) for the rest of your life who would you choose? Jim Carrey

If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why? Putting aside the fact that humans are animals I’d say a dog because it is such a simple but wholesome life.

If your instrument could talk to you, what would it say? Donk me, Lonk.

What is your favourite TV Ad? The one about ‘decks'

What’s your go to beverage at the pub? Pretty much any IPA
